Port terminals are striving for innovative approaches to increase their productivity in order to remain competitive. As hubs for handling enormous volumes of cargo, ports are looking for cost-effective solutions to increase their operational efficiency. Remote connectivity plays a crucial role here. Modern port automation systems rely on intelligent solutions that enable the seamless and continuous operation of cranes, automated vehicles, self-driving containers, remotely monitored rubber-tired gantry cranes (RTGs), closed-circuit television (CCTV), optical character recognition (OCR), and more.
These systems transmit an immense amount of data to the port control center in real time, requiring ultra-high capacity and reliable wireless throughput to connect every type of stationary, nomadic, or mobile port application.

The MultiSector Dual Carrier base station enables impressive transmission rates of up to 1.5 Gbps across up to 4 external antennas. This standalone base station is equipped with an integrated Layer 2 switch that aggregates dual-carrier traffic into a single Ethernet port or a point-to-point self-backhaul. Additionally, an integrated GPS receiver for TDD synchronization ensures that mutual interference between neighboring sites is minimized.
The base station can cover up to 4 sectors using only 2 frequencies. Carrier resources are distributed between 2 antennas using a high-performance TDD mechanism. One of the antennas can be configured as a self-backhaul to route traffic from the other antennas to the hub site, thereby eliminating the need for point-to-point (PtP) radio links.
Power is supplied via a single PoE port, and the unit is also equipped with an SFP slot for a direct fiber-optic connection. HB-SU-0001 supports the 5.4 to 5.8 GHz frequency range.

The RW-2954-62C5 is a carrier-class radio from the RADWIN 2000 Alpha PRO series.
It is an outdoor PtP radio unit that can also be used as a PtMP subscriber unit (with guaranteed Service Level Agreement or best-effort service).
The RW-2954-62C5 achieves a data throughput of up to 500 Mbps.
It is compatible with all 5 GHz PtMP base stations as well as PtP units.
The radio is designed for the connection of external antennas (2 × N-type connectors).
