The SteelRoot is an innovative foundation solution for masts that requires no concrete and can be flexibly adapted to different conditions. Thanks to its asymmetrical base plate arrangement, the SteelRoot is particularly suitable for urban and confined areas where existing underground utilities must be taken into account. This allows for more flexible site selection and faster implementation! Furthermore, the solution is cost-effective, reusable, and therefore sustainable.
There are over 25 million masts in Germany, used for a wide variety of purposes and requirements. Various environmental factors affect their condition and lifespan, which is why condition monitoring and inspection of masts and towers are not just recommended, but mandatory at regular intervals.
As a facility operator, you are responsible for the structural stability of all types of masts as part of your duty to ensure public safety. We are here to support you! We carry out all measures for the regular inspection and monitoring of the stability, positioning, traffic safety, and durability of mast and support systems. Our services are aimed at owners and operators of mast systems, as well as companies, cities, municipalities, transport authorities, and energy suppliers that set up or install mast systems and support structures, such as radio masts.
A distinction is made between annual condition monitoring and a main inspection, which must take place at least every six years. It is also common practice to perform a supplementary "simple inspection" three years after a main inspection.
Fiber or wireless? It’s not an either/or choice! True redundancy, as used by critical infrastructure companies, is only achieved by using two different media and different paths. This is best accomplished by combining a wired connection—preferably fiber—with a wireless connection using professional microwave technology.
The performance of fiber and microwave links is virtually identical: synchronicity, latency, and availability of up to 99.995%!
Leverage the advantages of our technology to ensure that a stray excavator doesn't unexpectedly sever your broadband connection and cause massive losses due to production downtime. After all, what happens if hardware failure, power outages, vandalism, or other factors cause your broadband supply to fail?
It is fortunate to have media-neutral redundancy via microwave link in such cases. Data rates of up to 20 Gbit/s full duplex provide more than just an alternative in the event of a failure. To ensure we can secure your connection via microwave link as quickly as possible, we have established and operationalized dedicated radio hub locations. From these hubs, we can provide you with a microwave connection within a few days, independent of the public IP network in your area.
